Ayurvedic detoxification, known as Panchakarma, is a set of five therapeutic treatments designed to cleanse the body of toxins (ama) and restore balance to the doshas. These treatments include:

- Virechana (Purgation Therapy): Use of herbal laxatives to cleanse the intestines and liver.
- Basti (Enema Therapy): Herbal enemas to cleanse the colon and balance Vata dosha.
- Nasya (Nasal Administration): Herbal nasal drops to clear the sinuses and improve respiratory health.
- Raktamokshana (Bloodletting): Removal of impure blood to treat conditions caused by blood impurities.
